Back-end developer- Enschede (NL)

Your role

As a Back-end Developer at Fortes, you will work on our product on a daily basis. A mature product, which is used by governments, healthcare institutions and other large organizations. Together with your team, you ensure that our users can continue to count on quality and efficiency. No quick hacks with us, but safe, clean code. You will work on improvements to existing functionality and on developing new possibilities. There is room for your innovative ideas and you can immerse yourself in new groundbreaking technology and use it for the product.

What are you going to do?

Build an advanced cloud application, together with your teammates Provide input for the development of new functional concepts and product roadmaps Being the technical 'owner' of parts within the application, for which you design and build the architecture together with your team. Who are you? You're a real beta. A programmer at heart. In your spare time, you still watch videos about programming projects and have a passion for smart solutions. You are looking for simple solutions to complex challenges. You have an eagerness to delve into new technology. And if you see an opportunity to improve something, you don't shy away from speaking out. Because you want to make an impact, learn new things and become the best at what you do. You also prefer to have experience with DevOps processes (feature branches, PRs, continuous integration). And you are a demonstrably talented back-end developer with at least a HBO working and thinking level.
