Full stack web developer - Enschede (NL)

Your role

As a Full Stack Developer at Fortes, you will work on our product on a daily basis. Achieving optimal customer value and care are very important. No quick hacks, but secure, clean code. We deliver a mature product for large, complex organizations. Your work consists of improving existing functionality as well as delving into new possibilities. You have room to delve into new groundbreaking technology and to make an impact on the product.

What are you going to do?

• Build an advanced cloud application, together with your teammates
• Provide input for the development of new functional concepts and product roadmaps
• Being the technical 'owner' of parts within the application, for which you design and build the architecture together with your team.

Who are you?

As a real scientist, you were already building small applications before you started studying computer science. You can get really excited about new technology and beautiful advanced code. You have an eagerness to fix things when you see that they can be improved. And you don't save this job description only to be able to say in two years' time that something wasn't in your job description. Because you want to make an impact, learn new things and become even better at what you do. You have an opinion about the tech stack you use and you are driven enough to share that opinion. And you are a demonstrably talented full stack developer.

What do you work with?

• SaaS application in a micro-service architecture (Kubernetes)
• Modern JavaScript, both on the back-end (Node.js) and in the front-end
• ReactJS in combination with Storybook
• Object oriented data service, GraphQL, REST, Express.js, RabbitMQ
• Test frameworks Mocha and Cypress
